Dhara Tuberous Throw
Consciously craft-forward, the production of these artisanal quilted throws is meticulous and stratified. Made from a cotton/silk blend, works are first woven and then dyed in large vats by hand. The fabrics are then cut into pieces and hung to dry before traveling to the quilter where the natural cotton fill is inserted. From there, the process of quilting each individual design begins. The Studio Ford Tuberous pattern was first constructed as a block print and is now applied in the stitching of these throws, the alternative approach offering the pattern a new life. 50% cotton / 50% silk . Dry clean only.
